They can throw a ball at least 5 yards and in the vicinity of their receiver.

If ANY team watched USF game film from our past two months, they can realize that they just have to pass all day on is.

Did UL miss any passes under 10 yards the other day? We can make any QB look good even if they have a terrible arm...

Our DL is great, our pass coverage is horrible. The worst it has been, probably forever. I cannot remember sitting through games and watching a team pass on us like we were swiss cheese, ever, like I have the past 5 of 6 games.

Lots to fix before next season. WVU, I'd recommend you watch the film. If I were the coach of WVU, I'd pass 3 of every 4 offensive plays.

I've often wondered why anyone runs the ball against us. No need to "keep us honest".

Agreed. I miss the days when our backs put hits on guys, intercepted the ball, and made people fear throwing on us.... Doesn't seem like that long ago.

I'd run most plays, and keep my QB option open in the event he doesn't have a pass. But no reason to not pass nearly every play. Why a team would run twice in the same set of downs, on our DL, perplexes me.....

Best part is WVU QB is number 6 in the country for passing efficiency... 65 percent for 3741 yards. They also have the number 21 receiver in the nation. Not to mention 29 on the list. Two top 30 receivers.........

WVU will kill us this week.

This was supposed to be USF's "best secondary ever"

(according to one db)

I don't care if we dont have the same caliber player that FSU,ALABAMA, or LSU has, I want our defense to watch tapes of their defense. I want them to see the swarm to the ball. I want them to see the breaks the db's make to come back to the ball. The blitz packages. We have to become more agressive on defense.I honestly would rather get beat taking risks and making them make tough plays then to play soft and continue to get SHREDDED out there.

I enjoyed watching FSU UF last night. The FSU DB's played like USF's DB's used to play. Very aggressive and made the plays. Lots of speed. Tons of intensity. I miss that.

A good defense will keep you in games. We have half a defense, the DL. Our pass D is horrible.

Man, I agree. Instead of the break we basically watch the ball get caught and then we wait for the guy to run so we know where to go to try and wrap him up with an arm tackle or two (he has about 8-10 yards to decide). Granted, now and then someone breaks form and puts a hit on someone but, generally speaking that is rare this season. That has bugged me more all season than ANYTHING else on this team.

Charmin defense.

Yeah, the old Stay Puft Marshmallow package needs to be revisited before next season. Although popular with the opposing teams, it didn't work out to our advantage

and the number of aneurysms it induced in the fans was really more than we anticipated.

Oh well...live and learn.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
