Got my annual letter in the mail today of all days to remind me of my Bulls Donor. They want to let ya know you have until May to renew but you can do so by the end of year to take advantage of this tax year.

Ok first of all what bad timing, esp after that embarrassing loss on Friday. 2ndly the lack of students at the game was beyond crazy and an embarrassment to everyone who loves USF.

3rdly It is sick to see that each week tickets to games are given away, or dirt cheap(10.00 for this weeks WVU game) Really???

What about the donors? What do we get? We pay full price over price for a game tickets, support the team even when we lose or win, regardless of when the game is played. We buy the bowl tickets so the school doesnt eat the tickets the bowl makes them buy and we get NOTHING!!!!! How about doing more for the donors or dont expect to see many given free money for nothing.

I can save my donoation, buy game tickets for half price or cheaper and get bowl tickets at steep discounts and not miss a game.

USF needs to wake up or they will lose what is most important (money). How about given all donors a free Tailgate prior to the WVU game and not charge us the 20-30 bucks. Really!!! Or throw us a few BB tickets as a thank you.

Students are constantly in our section at the game, No Ray Jay employees around to do anything, You tell them that is your seat (paid for at a high price) and you get a fight, a drunk, someone throwing up, ect...... Not fun.

So the question is do I make my Bulls Club Donation this up coming year or buy me a flat screen TV and just get tickets at 10 bucks a pop for each game?

I'd say if you are looking for a value proposition then no. For the forseable future it will be far cheaper to buy tickets as you walk-up. One thing USF has always done is remained loyal to those fans who remained loyal to them. Many folks are in donation sections that cost 4x or 5x what they are donating, but those fans started donating at the lower levels and the Bulls have continued to honor that.

I know we have 5+ pages on this, but I have no clue what student turnout has to do w/ your season ticket purchase. ou complain when there are too many and complain when there aren't enough!

Either way, your call. I don't think most fans care much either way!

FWIW, in addition to bulding a program, I thinkt he best think about being a season ticket holder is getting to sit next to the same folks every week. I know them, I joke with them, it is a good time. If you don't care who you end up sitting by and want to save a few bucks, by all means, walk up and get your 50 yard line seats.

Do like the people near us, I like the same seat each year.(have had season tickets since beg)

What about expansion and the BE? Will the not knowing hurt with people buying tickets? We dont know what the BE will look like next year or years to come.

Time for Judy and Doug to make an announcment. The not Knowing is horrible. , Would we want to see USF play FAMU's or BE type schools?

Sorry to rant just frustrated with the season, the coaching the BE, and the expansion. Not to mention the timing of the invoice. LOL

u have a right to be angry. i wouldn't hold it against u if u didn't renew, but i also don't think it will help the program. the donation is not so much for the value of your seats, but because u care about your school and its continued growth. one bad season (5-7 at worst, 7-6 at best) shouldn't change that.

for the upcoming season u can expect to see the same teams you've been seeing in the Big East, with the possible exception of WVU, who wouldn't be playing at RayJay next season anyway.

I am seriously considering not renewing and we have been there since day 1. Got our notice for donation today too. We get many notices during year asking for more money too. We also buy at least 4 tickets to every bowl game and have bought as many a 7and always have lousy seats.. We pay our donation plus $38 for the each ticket and always have people in our section that belong in the upper deck and Ray Jay does nothing to stop them from getting down there (they are not students- usually visiting team fans)but they make sure I have mine.

you get lousy seats precisely because you want a block of seats-- if you were getting two, your seats would be better and in line with your donation/priority level.

we used to try and get a block of tickets for the Bull Backers and would end up with nose bleed seats. the last time was for the Auburn game-- where our group was relegated to the upper upper deck. WE made a decision at that point to tailgate together but have everyone just get their own tickets so we didn't get boned by this anymore. There is no way around it short of screaming bloody murder-- and that seems like something that might work once if at all.

and yes-- to the OP-- make your donation and stay the course. You don't have to give it now. Wait until after Spring ball when your expectations become inflated yet again.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.
