This team has talent. We are a lot better than our record shows.

Big players haven't been making big plays in big situations

Every game it's something different. One week the offense sucks, the next it's the defense. Each unit has shown it can be great. Offense (Cincy, FAMU, UTEP, Cuse), defense (Miami, ND, UConn, RU). We have yet to be able to put up a complete game from both units (sans ND and Cuse)

Special teams has sucked all around. Lamar was the BE Special Teams POY last year, and what has he done this year?

JBK has been horrific. Don't understand why Holtz doesn't go to Veron.

Losing T-Rex hurt a lot. Haven't had a good return since we lost him.

Play calling was okay today though. Actually took a couple chances and whaddya know, they paid off.

1 word to describe this year: frustrating

This team has some talent, but is lacking in key areas like DB. They don't know how to play zone and get beat in man to man. If you look at most of our losses, it's because of horrocious play by the DBs, CInci, Rutgers, Louisville, Miami.

Granted special teams has been bad as well, but decent play by the DBs would have bailed us out of a couple of games.

This year BJ has been serviceable.

I haven't done this yet but I bet if you look back at the past 6 or so seasons, there is a point where we lose a key player to injury and then suddenly start a losing streak.

I remember pretty clearly one year it was Bruce Mompremier

This year it seems like Terrence Mitchell was the guy

can't recall who the guy was last season-- anyone?

very true-- our best years we had Mike Jenkins, Nate Allen, and Trae Williams among others--- that was a solid defensive backfield

TRex has to go back to DB. They will have depth at receiver next year.

I think it was Bogan last year but i could easily be mistaken.

You are right though we seem to always have a highly productive player get injured then we crash and burn. Our problem has never really been talent as we have plenty of it but our depth is poor and our DB play has been atrocious.

I thought we had depth this year...I don't understand why he was moved, especially after seeing our defensve backfield.

We have needed more help at DB than WR all season.

how do u have "plenty of talent" AND "poor depth" ?? the definition of depth is abundance of talent, not just a few talented guys in the starting lineup or at a few key positions, but guys on the bench that can step in for starters without a significant drop-off in performance. if we don't have depth we don't have "plenty of talent." it's that simple.

I have talent on my basketball team 1-7. I don't after that. So, no, no depth. But enough talent to win the Valley wide championship (again).
