Yep, its ugly....The four wins are at Louisville '10, at Cincinnati '10, Rutgers '10, and at Syracuse '11. The losses are...well everybody else we played in conference. Thats a winning percentage of somewhere in the low 20s.

Just plain terrible any way you look at it. Remember when we used to win home games?? That was something we could be proud of. Not anymore. The only teams we beat at home are the cupcakes that line our schedule every September. I can't believe we are 1-5 at home under Holtz in Big East play.

give it time. the big east is a power conference. he will need time to bring in the quality that it takes to win in this conference. kragthorpe left a loaded UofL program for strong 2 years ago.

To me the worst part is the loss of dominance at home. I always felt like we had a good chance to win at home, no matter who we played. That feeling is gone. This can't be good for season ticket renewals.

9 Freshmen from Miami including the starting QB. Nice pre-built recruting base. Just the facts son, just the facts.

do you know who recruited them? it was clint hurtt not charlie strong. clint hurtt was hired last year by charlie strong. clint hurtt won recruiter of the year.

tell your boy skip to hire someone with connections in miami. not that hard. strong did it.

you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer so obviously i'm not related to you. please don't call me son.

espn:

You can see Louisville's Clint Hurtt persuading players from South Florida to come to a program that has just one bowl appearance in the past four years and 15 bowl appearances total. You see him persuading players to ignore bigger programs with better tradition and more history to come to Louisville. You see him helping the Cardinals earn a spot in the Top 25 class rankings, the only Big East team to do so. That's why Hurtt was named ESPN.com's recruiter of the year.

"It's something I didn't expect, but it's a great honor and something I am very proud of," Hurtt said. "I think the biggest reason why I had success this season was that these families were very comfortable with me. It's about creating those relationships and building trust."

Hurtt was key in the Cardinals landing quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (Miami/Northwestern), safety Gerod Holliman (Miami/Southridge), wide receiver Eli Rogers (Miami/Northwestern) and defensive end Bryant Dubose (Oakland Park, Fla./Northeast). Of the Cardinals' 20-player class, 16 are from out of state, including 12 from Florida, 10 of them from South Florida.

That's not surprising considering Hurtt's history in the area. Hurtt, originally from Rochester, N.Y., played for the Miami Hurricanes from 1997 to 2000. After an injury ended his career before the 2001 season, he became a volunteer assistant on the strength and conditioning staff. In 2003, he was named a graduate assistant and worked with the defensive line for two seasons. He spent a year coaching the defensive line at Florida International before returning to the Canes as a defensive line coach from 2006 to 2009. In Hurtt's final three seasons with Miami, he also served as its recruiting coordinator and helped the Canes land three straight top-10 classes, including the nation's No. 1 class in 2008. He knows the lay of the land in the three main counties -- Dade (Miami), Broward (Fort Lauderdale) and Palm Beach (West Palm Beach) -- that make up South Florida. He estimates that he has ties to 70 percent of the players down there in some way and has built up a big trust factor in the region.

You mean the Clint Hurtt implicated by Shapiro in the UM investigation .... ?

And I wouldn't be too quick with the knife/drawer stuff considering, if memory serves me correctly, you're the one that can't grasp the fact the majority of Skip's salary does not come from taxes ...

I get you don't grasp what fungible means.

Hurt will go scot free just like the 2 at alabama. Just like Gilchrists trainer who your hero health hired to get him to sign.

Grasp it completely ... but it's not applicable here, which you were showed time and time again ... two different pots ... but never did sink in, did it?.

Question is would Hurtt be going scot free if he was still at UM? ... Sounds like you're endorsing Skip go out and get a known dirty recruiter ... brilliant.
