Safety Situation for 2005

Seems like a lock that we'll have J. Jones back at Strong Safety ... will Verpaele back him up or go to Free Safety?

I'm guessing the latter, but . . .  ???

I like Jenkins on the corner... he's got the cockiness to be great there.

I have no idea at FS.  It sure would be nice for some corners to step up so Jenkins can move to FS.

I like Jenkins on the corner... he's got the cockiness to be great there.  

He just doesn't have the ability.  Put Mike Jenkins back at the position which he starred in HS- Free Safety.  Mike's got the speed but he lacks the flexibility and hip swivel to handle cornerback.  How many times was Jenkins running with a receiver but had trouble keeping stride and looking back- a sure sign someone isn't qualified for corner.

Mike's got all-american potential at FS, at cornerback he'll always be average and struggle to improve.
