I agree. FSU has student dorms by Doak. This would get more students to on campus events when they see them occurring right outside of their window. Right now, they dont really hear about athletic events.

Maybe we should just have people go around and wake students up, get them dressed, and take them to the sporting events.  That would get more there.

We need like twice as many dorms as we have now anyway. May as well build them next to athletics area.

If our OCS is built on the corner of Maple and Holly like many people on this board do, then the stadium will be right next to all the dorms and greek village.

I like how UT built some of their dorms almost on top of their stadium... I believe they have two dorms overlooking their stadium across from each other.

Interesting tidbit about LSU Tiger Stadium

Did you know that Tiger Stadium was originally a men's dormitory? Gov. Huey Long couldn't get the funding approved for a football stadium, so instead he built a round dormitory with a field above it. Pretty clever, eh? Today, the old dorm rooms are just used for storage, but I've heard tell that they will be renovated at some point for use as offices and public space.
