for a play

i must say that sight looks frightening

and i have never seen it on any level of football from

first year peewees on up

i hope i never see the players turn their collective  head 60  degrees in unison to look to our sideline for a play again

it just gives the otherside confidence

the only thing funnier is some out of shape guy with poorly fitting clothes giving hand signals that half the team clearly doesn't understand

I think Cincinnati did the same thing.

The problem is, is that it takes away from the no huddle offense. The no huddle is meant to be quick hit and to catch the other team off guard and to wear them down. You're right Steve! It's like ok your the bottle cap, and you are the piece of glass calling of plays. It trully is bogus, especially for thr level we are at now!

The other "main" reason for the "no huddle" is also to keep control of the D substitution.

Go BULLS !!!

You need to watch more college football.  It's a common occurance now.  I saw several teams do it in the bowls this Dec.  I will say its sort of amusing to watch the whole offense turn and look at the sideline simultaneously though.

I really don't see the big deal.  This is one of those things that if you are winning, no one cares.  If you are losing, it all of a sudden becomes one of the reasons.

Cincinatti, Utah, UL, Maryland.....**** the list is to big to count.  I suppose smazza stopped watching college football long ago.  This has been the rage lately as these mobile head sets allow the guys above to see the defense, call down, and re-set the play.

I don't particularly feel very confident in the situation either, but unless you've got a real savvy QB that's great at reading defenses, or you run a very powerful, I-Formation offense it seems this to be the way some coordinators are heading.

I see it alot now too.   I've been referring to it as "Prarie Dogging".

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.
