Have we had any nimrods do this expecting to legislate our way into the ACC, SEC or anywhere else? If we end up NOT in an AQ conference after the dust settles, I imagine you may be among the nimrods clamoring for an intervention. You imagine that based on what? The fact that it supports your baseless assumption to which Brad responded? If you want to just make **** up and assume it to be true, have at it, but it doesn't make it correct. Why is it baseless and who invited you to answer. LOL .... Seriously, slick??

But I don't ever want my legislators wasting their time on something like what conference my school is in. There are far, far more important things they should be trying to resolve.Well its millions in revenue that won't go to the Tampa Bay Area, one of the hardest hit large cities in this economy, and its being decided by a bunch of schools in other states. Its revenue, pure and simple, both tangible and intangible taken from a public institution. All that money that came from being in the Big East went into all kinds of improvements at the school, paid many people's salaries, buys better equipment for the team, etc etc etc.

I'm not sure how much clearer I could have made it. It's exactly what the word means. You just make up the "fact" that Brad would take some hypothetical argument simply because it ... well, I don't know why, really. Anyway, yeah, baseless.Unless you've seen Brad argue that lawmakers should be involved in college football conference alignments in the past, I guess that would be a basis. You really think...Uh, I didn't say a single thing that followed these words. All I said was it's stupid to assume how Brad or anyone else would behave in some hypothetical situation that isn't happening, hasn't happened, and won't be happening. Why do I think that is baseless? And I qualified my response by "may". You do know what that word means right?
