As an alumni of HOT Band and a musician, I can say that HOT Band did a FANTASTIC job bouncing back from last weeks debacle.

Sitting in the Alumni section across from FAMU's band(in direct line of fire of their instrumental sound missiles) I can say that HOT Band was STONG and LOUD and was very audible even with FAM'S band "playing".

They rarely missed a first down or a defensive cheer and it was NICE to see all of us and even people closer to the "debaucherus amalgamation of shrieks aka FAM's band" doing all the hand signs and ALL the cheers at HOT's attention.

Dr. McCutchen has a grip on this band and they'll be just fine.  As long as football coaches or RayJay advertising people stay the hell out of the way of making decisions when HOT band plays!

I hope it all continues to get better from here on out as I wish nothing but the best from HOT band.  These three ROOKIE Drum Majors(which i just learned yesterday) will only continue to get better and quicker at addressing the band So by the time they're on Primetime BCS, they'll be well-oiled.

Great game yesterday all around...could've done without the defensive lapses in the 1st half, but whatever...we scored 70.  lol

GO BULLS!!!

Yeah, the football coaches should **** off and yield to the mighty herd of thunder directors. You do know why the band exists, yeah?

It's attitudes like yours that have the PA system and the RayJoy sound system pumping music instead of the College Marching band at a COLLEGE GAME!!!

Just ridiculous.

GO BULLS!!!

HAHAHA I was sitting directly across from hot band and when FAMU was playing they could not be heard at all dude. FAMU is what College band is supposed to be, and played circles around the HOT band. If you where their after the game they played music the HOT band can only dream of playing. Tell me the last time the HOT band played challenging Classical Music in the stand???

Are you kidding me, the Herd of Thunder were outplayed, although they were better than last week.  I agree with the PA comment, I would prefer the band playing instead of the canned music from the PA system, its college football and that is why he have a band.

HOT has always been a second rate college band, and this year is no different. I don't know if its because they have less people, but they really aren't loud at all. Plain and simple, they are not good.

exactly.  its like they have mufflers on their equipment or something.  i sit directly across from them and hardly hear them.  heard FAMU loud and clear last night.

HOT is a joke and so are people who think they are TBP ambassador for all things HOT and all things gay.  (like war flamingo and signing your own posts on a message board with your message board name tag....hey- here is a secret-  your user name is next to your post at the start of it.  we know who wrote it.  you don't need to sign it at the bottom)
