Guess who is missing from football preview?

I am sick and tired of the Sun Sentinel excluding USF Football in their college football coverage.This is a perfect example of how blatant the Sentinel is in not writing about USF. The title of the article is

Monster week for college football in Sunshine State, you would expect a mention of the #20 ranked team from the state of Florida(sunshine state), NOT!

The fact that he doesn't know how to spell the name of the head coach of the flagship program in the state and refers to UCF-FIU as a "marquee match-up" shows he's an assclown not worthy of a covering us ...

I wouldn't call it "marquee" unless you were in Oviedo or Miami, but the UCF/FIU is going to match two teams with similar talent level and should be a good game.  It certainly has the makings of a closer rivalry, talent-wise, than a game with us would be.  They could call it the "Turnpike Tussel"

I'm not surprised this game isn't being covered. Most teams are through with their AA teams. We're just playing ours, stupid.

+1 to that. The biggest response angry letters will produce from Murschel "college insider", *snicker*, is grim satisfaction. Enough angry letters from Orlando might make a change but its unlikely the interests USF fanbase is going to override the UCF fanbase in that town. Things would change if and only UCiF was invited to a BCS conference. In the meantime this only proves the size of the chip on the collective shoulders of UCiFers.

Their blatant lack of coverage is completely childish, though. Even the Trib or the SP Times at least includes a blurb on the UCiF Mights' whereabouts.

I wrote to the editor of the Sentinel a few years back when they continued hyping UCF instead of USF.  I mentioned the four game beatdown we placed on them, our number 2 ranking and then wins over Aurburn, FSU etc.  

I received a nice letter from a female editor who basically agreed with me but told me they get most of their college football content from the Orlando sentinel, which they also own and share duties with.  I laughed at her and her crappy company.
