I thought it was a great gesture for our band to play the Ball State fight song at the beginning of the game, since they couldn't bring their band.  They have great fans and the give and take on their message board was very cordial.

Love their attitude, even if it is misguided.  ;)

Can't say I blame them for wanting Daniels to leave early for the NFL, considering the way our backup played.

Of course, Daniels isn't leaving and we are expected to be a much better team next year. Just don't tell them.  ;D

Ball State is not a bad team. they didn't look good playing us at home, but we are easily the fastest team they will play this year and the best team they'll see with the exception of OU.

They were a great group of fans. It was cool to learn the history of the school's name from one of the guys sitting near us.

It doesn't have to do with one of their founders "tbagging" their buddy after a night of sink or swim at the local bar???

I have friends that are Ball St Alum and one came to the game. Will probably try a Road Trip next season.

The state of Indiana may have the classiest fans in college football. Not sure how the fans in Bloomington are though

Stating the obvious. There is not a DIv. 1 team in the state that could beat S.Florida.

Is he talking about the state of Indiana or Florida?  ;)
