Congratulations To BJ for BE Offensive player of the week. The hard work is paying off. He is getting settled in and really starting to buy into the system.. I think the hurry-up offense suits him really well.

Also congratulations to Mark Joyce for another game starting turnover return.

USF's Daniels, Joyce earn Big East weekly honors

Two weeks into football season and USF has already won all three of the Big East's weekly honors, with quarterback B.J. Daniels earning the offensive nod after his 359-yard passing game against Ball State, and safety Mark Joyce getting the special-teams honor for the week after returning a fumbled kickoff return for a touchdown just eight seconds into the game.

Those two honors follow last week, when Bulls safety Jerrell Young was the league's defensive player of the week and kicker Maikon Bonani earned a spot on the conference's weekly honor roll. Daniels set career highs with 28 completions on 39 attempts, and his 359 passing yards were not only a career high but the fourth-highest total in school history.
