Honestly the rest of the BE looked pathetic this weekend.  Even WVU had some problems, but that would seem the only realistic obstacle.  It is early, but I would think after two weeks USF may have the clearest path to a BCS game of any team in the country!

but i would be curious to know WHY aa picks us 3rd in the Big East after two weeks.

You do realize that we beat ND. She still expects ND to get the Champs bowl over us, despite them starting out 0-2. Of course, she also expected USF not to be ranked even if we beat ND. Maybe, she only threw us under a compact car.

They took WVU over ND last year. ND ended up going to the Sun Bowl. If USF is ranked and ND isn't and USF has a better record, I don't think ND is a lock for the Champs Bowl over USF.

The 2011 season kicks off with a homecoming of sorts as South Florida head coach Skip Holtz returns to his alma mater for a showdown with Brian Kelly and Notre Dame. Last year, the Bulls and Irish were late contenders for the Champs Sports Bowl before West Virginia’s 9-3 record proved too good to pass up. Expectations are higher for both teams this season and both are mentioned in preseason Champs Sports Bowl predictions, so an early-season game like this could have an impact on Selection Sunday in December.

I have no problem with her being "safe" on picking WVU to win the conference.
