Could our touchdown in the first 8 seconds of the game be an NCAA record? I can't think of a way to score quicker other than to run down the field in a straight line.

The Louisville game at ray jay had a similar play about 4 years ago I think to start the game

It was a team record. ESPN reported that.

It should be reported as tying the record. In 2007 2009, Nate Allen returned a fumbled kickoff 3 yards scoring at the 8-second mark:

So the two quickest TDs in the history of NCAA football had nothing to do with the four horsemen or David Letterman, but were scored by South Florida Bulls?

We run trivia every day at work.  I'm taking that one in on Monday unless someone shoots it down.  They'll never know.  :)
