Would like to know how honoring Lee Roy Selmon went

Can you tell us about the memorial and how the fans were?  Man it still hurts and I'm across the country. 

I hope we did that very exceptional man well.

- As soon as we walked in the gate, there were people handing out stickers with "63" on them

- HOT formed "LRS" on the field in the pre-game

- A moment of silence, where the entire stadium went dead silent, occurred

- A video with commentary from several USF officials was played on the big screens

It can be said that there isn't enough that you can do for a memorial to this great man, but USF did all they could tonight.

What he said.  As good as you can do before a game.  I'm not ashamed to say that I've cried at least 3 times over the past few days while hearing or watching tributes/services.

Got in to rjs a few minutes late. Saw the LRS by the band on Jumbotron.    Bought program w LRS.    I admit I was a Bit choked up.  I will miss lrs.

On the TV pregame, they put up his picture.  I thought they were gonna run video about his life.  Instead they faded out.  When they put his picture up there, the waterworks were about to open. I'm still saddened.  Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Rocky also carried out the 63 flag.  I know they couldn't do this, but I thought it would've been real cool if someone could have jumped out of a heli or plane or something and come down with the #63 flag.  Also, I thought they should carry that flag around after the score, but they didn't.  Just the B U L L S flags.  The only time they brought that out was in the beginning when Rocky ran out with it.    :-\

Rocky ran out with it in front of the team, instead of the usual USF flag. Came over and waved it in front of the student section.

No pre-game TV for us at the DC watch party so we had a toast for LRS during halftime.

they also had 63 on the field on both sides of the 50-- facing the same direction toward the tv cameras.

for some reason-- the NFL made  the Bucs take them off the field for their game today-- god forbid the NFL breakdown and let some get honored without it being their idea- they literally replaced the entire circular number with new turf. I suppose we will see those numbers all year when we are on the field .

Wow, I thought that would be a feature of both games...  sometimes the NFL is a little odd.  What kind of tribute did the Bucs do?
