I am SOFA KING Fired Up !

Last week's opener, I was nervous. I mean real nervous - never been before.

Today I'm just fired up excited for our Home Opener. Seems it's going to be a good crowd and of course remembering Lee Roy Selmon.

And to the disgust of some, this 45 year old father of a 4 year old girl WILL be wearing his Green BULL jersey, with MY NAME !

So bring your wrath. I just hope that I am supported by BTown2009  :o

Wow, 4 or 5 am.  I would need a nap or wouldn't see the game.  :)

We were at the ND game and I am more nervous about this game.  I guess I didn't have huge expectations with ND.  Being ranked is part of what worries me.  If we lose this game, the media will start the "same old USF" stuff. We need to win and stay ranked to continue building up respect on the national stage. 

You would think that FCSH wouldn't let them overlook Ball State.  But, then, I'm sure Kelly was telling the ND players not to take USF lightly.  I don't know how much control the coach has over that.

Would be good for my ticker if we could jump out early and save some stress.

Oh, and by the way.....

I'm really not nervous about winnng this game.  Not saying there's not a chance we don't shoot ourselves in the foot and blow it, but I'm very confident we won't.

I more nervous we don't win by enough to stay in the top 25.  Say all you want about how the polls don't matter - Big East Championship is our number 1 goal, but I think if we can stay ranked it will help their confidence heading up to Pitt.  But I'm an engineer and not a psychiatrist so you can see how qualified I am in making that statement.

But anyway,

GOLD!!!

ps - we need a gold color to choose from for font!
