ND Weekend Story 1: Judy Genshaft, Lee Roy Selmon and the College Football HOF

Quick story of many that happened during the Notre Dame Weekend.

Prior to the start of the Alumni Tailgate, we met Judy on the way down to the College Football HOF exhibits. After taking various group pictures and talking about where she got her purse (Mayor Pam Iorio bought it from internet where it is currently sold out) and the big game, we took our kids and went on our way.

We later ran into her and now her husband looking around for Lee Roy Selmon's plaque. Being a Bucs fan since the inaugural season in 76, I knew where to look immediately and pointed it out to her.

We questioned why there were only the years 1972-1975 (thinking he may have left after his junior year). A USF fan who mentioned he played college football then chimed in that Freshman were not allowed to play then and their freshman year did not count as playing years (I did not know that).

I have many more videos and pics with Bulls flags and such at (Willis (Sears) Tower glass overlook, Cubs game scoreboard message, MOSI German U505 sub, etc) but we will leave those for later.
