David Simon will be wearing it.  I can't see them rotating it for two reasons:  1.  He didn't play for USF  2.  You're very limited with the positions that can wear 63

Helmet decal or patch on the jersey, but no jersey number.  He was a COLLEGE star at OKLAHOMA, that's where his jersey should be.  Decals for others for a season.  Like the statue idea or a plaque somewhere in the Athletics area.

I know ET.  My first year on campus was 1996 where I lived in Fontana alongside the first football team.  My point simply was leave the jerseys to guys who PLAYED here.  Leave other honors for non players like statues, named buildings which you'd commemorate with a plaque etc.  Was talking more in general at that point as we already have some non football players that seriously warrant future "honors" along with Selmon so I was just throwing out there that there needs to be a delineation between past players vs. "program builders".

No matter what it is, if Tim Tebow can get recognized while at UF, we should be able to get something done for this great pillar of USF football done pretty soon.
