Wanted to congratulate you guys on a win in South Bend you played turnover free football and the Irish did not. You guys definitely deserved to win yesterday.

I wanted to thank all of you for participating and commenting on TheGoldHelmets.com leading up to the game. I just posted my last article on ND vs USF. Yeah, it sounds like something other fans would say to us when we lost to them.  ;D

Thanks.  I spent a lot of time researching ND football prior to the start of the season and will be pulling for them the rest of the year.  BEAT MICHIGAN!!

My prediction was on your site was pretty **** close! I said low scoring and if USF wins turnover battle then we win 24-21!!!

Thanks for swinging by.  ND fans and workers were GREAT.  Spent a great deal of time being talked to by one of the guards who told us story after story which really made the visit even more meaningful.  Even had a few kids explain to us what was happening when we saw a bunch of guys in only their boxers, painted up and singing outside to wake up the girls.  Pretty cool atmosphere all around campus yesterday.  Great trip.  The only negative was the delays by the tv timeouts in the 4th quarter vs. speeding things up and allowing us to get that last 4 minutes in.

One thing is for sure, those breaks were HUGE for ND.  Every time USF started gaining traction, the delay hit which looked like it allowed ND to reload on being pumped up and better in their execution. 

One thing is for sure, Floyd is a BEAST.  That TE (#80) is a stud and your RB Wood is going to have a nice year.  The pieces are in place if you can get more accuracy out of the QB position.  However, your defense certainly looked legit, especially the DBs.  Our guys rarely were able to get behind them.
