Mixed emotions.

I want the SOS boost, but I hate ND. I don't want them taking away a Big East bowl bid, so I want them either 5-7 and not eligible or 10-2 and in the BCS (need a loss to Pitt as well to help the BE).

I'd also like to see us and WVU be Top 5, meet at 11-0 for the BE championship, and have BOTH teams get a BCS bowl.

So I have to go with wishing ND a 5-7 season.

Well, before the season ND was the odds on favorite to take the Champs bowl. Right now we have the tie breaker over them. So, I would at least like to see ND lose a few more games and end up with a mediocre record, so even if we slip that bowl might take us over them. If we don't go to a BCS game, I'd hate to end up in a crappy bowl, because the Meineke [which I like] won't take us again this year.

I'm not going to lose sleep over Holtz going to ND in the future. Enjoy it while I can.

Before this game, I thought ND might be the one place Skip might leave us for, but now I think he knows he'll win a National Championship at USF long before ND ever becomes relevant again, so I'm not worried about him leaving.
