While I was unimpressed with our offense, BJ played very smart today in my opinion...

Great job.

THe offense was unimpressive, but for the love of God, we had a 16-0 lead, I wonder why we played conservatively???

He has learned how to not lose. That is key. Next step is to learn to create wins.

Agree...I was very impressed overall.  The one 3rd and goal in the 2nd quarter was the only time he looked confused.  But he played pretty smart and had no turnovers.  I have to tip my hat to him....and I'm feeling pretty good about conference play.

Because our QB1 tweaked his hamstring and was playing the entire second half on one leg.

I was fine with the offense. Very conservative, needed to be. BJ was brilliant. Several times pulling the ball down instead of making a bad throw. Not only that, but, on the TD drive, you could almost see him just take over the offense and become a leader.

I just hope his hammy is good to go by next week and we can get a lead and rest him early.

Great job.

we had a very CONSERVATIVE offense tonight/today

not to mention ND has a very strong D-line so our O-line had trouble run blocking.

but BJ looked much better.  i think he only missed 2 or 3 passes all night.

had a few big drops (that mix up with Joel and Sterling early in the game and Welch on that key 3rd down)

I liked what i saw out of Scott (he didnt look 1 ounce overweight to me) and Murray played STRONG.

i give credit to ND's d line more than take anything away from our offense.

i wish we would of gotten our TEs involved more.  Shields had a big play but that was pretty much it.

We had the lead and ND was shooting themselves in the foot. Good game for Beej

And that's really all it took.  I also feel good about conference play based on what I saw.

Looked like a different QB from years past.
