If nd wins it is expected and they will talk of how good nd will be this year.

If USF wins, it won't be that USF is a good team (they will use words like decent team, etc) but instead will say nd was overrated and didn't play up to abilities.  Cannot give us props if we win or if they do will always contain some sort of disclaimer which will take some of the credit from USF....

We don't want props. We want a BE championship. Credit will come when the team earns it.

A win over ND today will get another monkey off our back.  We played 4 previous season opening games away, which we have never won.  That is a defining moment.

If we continue to put up W against teams like this AND be consistent in the BE, that disclaimer will be shed off in no time. Consistency is our biggest enemy. We step up for big games but fail in our conference, of course they are going to put disclaimers on us.

Bottom line. Win today and there is still a chance for the 2011 National Chamoionship. Lose, and BE championship is the only goal.

I'm not saying we're a NC contender, but until we lose, we're still in it.

First of all, the Bulls have face much tougher odds then the one they'll be facing today. These kids should not be ahh struck by this team. The last time ND was relevant was in the early 90's. These kids was sanging that **** Barney song.
