Written from a ND perspective.

I thought it interesting and thoughtful.

the writer said giddins is "poised for a breakout 2010 season."  someone remind him it's 2011.

Key to the game: knock the **** out of thier recievers and make them think twice about even attempting to get open ala FSU. Level some recievers, level the playing field.

+1

If they send Floyd over the middle, I want his ribs promptly met by Jon Lejiste's shoulder pads. We set the tone at FSU in the first series on defense and made it very clear that we were there to play, need to do the same here. ND will be playing loose up front, thinking they have nothing to worry about. Some hard hits early will make them press a little and make some mistakes.

...on offense, I hope we use Landi in the seam quite a bit. He should over match anyone that they are going to put on him.

BJ - zero turnovers

  BJ  - 60%+ passing percentage

BJ   - at least one 20+ yard run

Floyd is 6'3" 225, I don't think he fears Lejiste.  However, a big hit on Riddick would probably work.

For a 2-post Bulls fan, you sure are pretty high on ND...

Believe me, LeJiste can lay the wood. Size doesn't really matter when you're looking for the ball and the safety has a chance to launch himself at you. Floyd may not be worried about it, but, if it happens, he'll worry about it the next time he goes over the middle.

No, I am not pretty high on ND.  I just saw Floyd play against Miami in their bowl game and he was a man amongst boys.  No problem in pointing out talent when you see it.  When did I say Lejiste couldn't lay the wood?  Of course he can, I just think he has a better chance of laying out Riddick, who is 6'0" 195 than Floyd that's all.
