Did not know this:

USF is 10-4 in season openers since the program

started in 1997 with the 10 wins coming at home

and the four losses coming in road openers.

Streaks were made to be broken ... we killed the streaks against Cincy, Louisville and Rutgers last year, we can kill this one.  It's a Holtz new era.  :)

1999 @ San Diego state.  We were still 1-AA.

2001 @ northern Illinois.  Lost by 3.  First year as D1, and we beat Pitt the next game.

2003 @ Alabama.

2005 @Penn state.

Everyone fails to mention this, but we also broke our streak against Syracuse last year as well.
