From Josh Dentel on Twitter:

Holtz must see Stephen Bravo-Brown having a larger role at USF if he placed him under scholarship. He showed some promise in 2010

Why?  I didn't see a lot when he played last year and we didn't have any receivers whatsoever - including Bravo-brown.  I know the coachs keep singing his praises but couldn't we have used taht one better.   ???

Oh, you're right, because Holtz says so then we couldn't have possibly used it better. I mean, it's completely outside the realm of possibility that using it on a guy like Louis or just having another scholarship open next year wouldn't end up being better. After all, you and Holtz share the ability to tell the future.

The kid "deserves" it. I have no complaints whatsoever with him getting it, hard working players should be rewarded. It certainly "could" have been used better in theory though.

Of course, IN THEORY, it could have been used better ... IN THEORY, Andrew Luck could have wanted to transfer here ... but I'm pretty sure the smart thing to do with these things is to defer to someone a little closer to the pulse of this program than you or me.

ummm have you seen our progress under holtz in just 1 year?  and you DON'T trust him?  wtf??

if holtz says he's deserving, then he's deserving.  end of story.

No - The Bulls went 8-5 last year .  Where is the progress ?  Coming into the situation he did just fine but if you consider progress as having 8 wins then no.   This is the year I expect to see progress along with next year.

And yes a big congrats to Bravo Brown for getting the scholly - It has to feel great for him.

I do agree with this.  I like Holtz and think he is doing great but the only difference from the previous regime is when we won and lost.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
