Protection of B.J. will be key all year.  I think he will turn it around for USF this year, but the big thing is they'll need to keep him healthy.

He will definitely be the key to the offense (and season).  I love every report that I see like this. Our coaches don't seem to blow a lot of smoke. If  they say it, it's probably true. I just hope he stays healthy and/or Eveld starts to catch up during the season.

After seeing him early his first year I thought he had Heisman potential.  Then last year I predicted he wouldn't start his senior year.  Obviously I haven't figured the guy out.  If his TD to INT ratio is better than 2:1, good things will happen for USF this season.

there were times last year that i clearly thought he would be finishing his career with USF at some other position but QB.

lets hope he is starting to turn from "great athlete who can throw the ball"  to "good QB who is very athletic"

Give him a break, he had different offensive coordinators in the last 3 years and I have faith that Vass can teach a QB how to think.

i think it was a perfect storm for him last year...

inconsistent play on the O-line, inexperience at WR, new system.

This for the win. While he has not played lights out, we can not forget that he had to learn three new offenses in three years. Most college Quarterbacks run the same offense on the practice field for two years and then may run it for real in their junior season. B.J did not get anything close to this process.
