Nate Allen - DB - Eagles

Eagles FS Nate Allen is still not 100 percent recovered from his December ruptured patellar tendon.

Allen was awful in the second preseason game, looking slow and uncomfortable as the Steelers ran up a 21-0 halftime lead. Now Allen is sharing first-team reps with Jarrad Page and admitted that his tendon and range of motion remain issues. It's bad news for the Eagles and a reminder of the long road Cardinals RB Ryan Williams has ahead of him

That's too bad.  I hope Nate gets better soon, seems like a slow recovery.

That's unfortunate. With the new scheme he could rack up big numbers either being a middle fielder or coming up toward the line to make tackles depending on the scheme at the moment (read up on Philly's safety scheme if you haven't).

Hope this guy can get healthy and back on the field. He was the stud of last years class and and should be one of the best safeties in the NFL within the next few years if he stays healthy.
