At least there was no illegal forward propulsion called.

Some really crappy rule changes happened over the lockout. Dont know if this is one of them, but it totally sucks

I am pretty sure this has always been the rule in the NFL, that if the offense fumbles it can only be advanced by the fumbling player.

I thought the same thing...I was going poop if they called a forward propulsion...literally..poop

I am pretty sure this has always been the rule in the NFL, that if the offense fumbles it can only be advanced by the fumbling player.

Hasn't always been there ... thank the Oakland Raiders for it.
