The funny thing is true athletes know that Soccer is a tough sport. Those of you that haven't ever competed athletically past junior high may think differently. Do you "manly men" think that:

WO's, DB's, basketball players (some of you say "more chance to score" not if your "flop" causes the 6th foul on the best player), track athletes, swimmers are all pansies. ALL sports have acting, if all other sports were played ALL over the world, then you would see it more.

i personally do not care.  I just like how serious some people can take off the cuff comments. 

to me almost every sport nowadays is soft.  I grew up playing the traditional sports of basketball and baseball and neither were rough.  I also studied full contact martial arts for about 10 years and I would rather get hit on a punt return, knocked to the floor mid air with a hard foul or beaned with a baseball over taking a round kick to the side of my head by someone trained to hit.

this thread is epic... except the Prothro clip. he should wear a yellow sock on his foot and swing it around his head at a Steelers game like his own custom "Terrible Towel"

soccer is incredibly difficult... i gave soccer a shot with my company... you need unreal lung capacity and endurance.
