So what will Lou's message be for tonight's kickoff dinner?

Speaking of mixed emotions, I read the Holtz family love sonnet to Notre Dame in Sunday's St. Pete Times and I wondered what message Lou will deliver at tonight's Victors Club kickoff dinner?  Given his past track record of optimistic hyperbole (remember that 2009 preseason prediction?), perhaps he will pick the Irish meet the Buls in a rematch game to decide the national championship.  I can only hear so many times how a bumblebee flies because it can't read.  That said, I'm still looking forward to the event and hope to see a good turnout.

Victors Club is something Skip Holtz did last year where it gave an award to players who had the best grades (not in the class but on the field)

i dont know why there would be "Victors Club" at the start of the season

Awesome Event Tonight.  Coach Patrick was seated at our table and provided alot of insight into the team.  Coach Skip and Lou were like a two man comedy team.  Lou told a great story about Skip in grade school and a very touching story about his wife.  One of the more humorous zingers was about Mark May and a bumper sticker.  Lastly,  the team will be prepared to play ND, no doubt about it, as Lou said, make no mistake about it USF has a chance to win in South Bend.
