As much as I dislike Dan Sillyhoe, I think he does have a respect for USF at some level and now with Skip there he is a little more positive about USF. But he has his Green and Orange blinders ALL the time so it's hard to respect another program, especially one that rivals his own.

Ncentonze - please don't say USF "rivals" Miami.  We aren't in the same league.  Our day may come and yes we beat them last year but lets hold off on the idea that we are somehow close to what Miami has achieved.  Right now I am glad we haven't gotten in the mess Miami is so our chance is now and in the future but lets win the BE first.

I'm going to say USF Rivals UM in recent history. Since joining the ACC Miami has a record 53-35 and been to 6 bowls and has never won the ACC. In the same amount of time USF has gone 60-36, 6 bowls, and never won the CUSA or Big East.

USF and Miami are usually battling for the same caliber recruits(3 star, some 4 star).

Sure Miami has won NC (which is a HUGE feat and can only hope USF can someday even compete for one) and have a historic program for about 90 years but look at what each school as done lately. USF rivals UM.

Miami has not had a historic program for 90 years. They were never good until the 80's. BTW Miami and USF have not been equals in recruiting. I do think we are in better shape now than Miami but you def have green and gold blinders on.

I've noticed a lot of Miami Jerseys the last couple of days. I think it's kind of the equivalent of yelling when walking through a swamp so the snakes will get out of the way or making loud noises when walking into a dark room to run out the ghosts. I think it's fair to say that whatever UM was they wont be again for quite a while. These penalties, no matter how harsh, are gonna hurt.That program is going to have a long road back from this. They will likely get booted from the ACC and are gonna suffer sanctions for at least 5 years. Another 5 after that and they MAY get back to some degree of former glory. Anyone who doesn't believe that is just a fan with blinders on.
