Maybe I am reading into this too much, but sense some tension b/w McKenzie and the coach.

Hmmm.  Not sure what to think on this one.  Raheem doesn't seem like the type of guy that says a job is wide open when it really isn't.  I hope T-Mac isn't sending the wrong signal to his coach like he is giving up the competition for the starting spot.

Hopefully he just continues to work hard, show a lot of heart, and play well. He is more than capable of being a starter

Obviously, its the rookies job. T-Mac didn't do enough. Once he gets his chance, I don't see him coming off the field.

Hate to say it, but if T-Mac can't manage to get starting reps in pre-season either Morris is a bozo or McKenzie just isn't performing as well in the NFL as we had hoped. This is the second time he's been knocked back in the depth chart by rookies.

To be fair, the Bucs have been high on their rookie LB since the beginning of camp.  T-Mac has only been with the Bucs for the last month of the 2010 season, and with the lockout the team truly hasnt had alot of time to see him perform.

I for one want to let the preseason progress and see where he stands then.
