I have a good feeling about him, as well.  I think his was a case where, fresh out of high school, he thought he would make it big with the support of the press clippings.  Now, I think he is going to apply the work necessary to turn that innate talent into the results everyone (including him) are expecting.

its good that he has family in the tampa/st pete area.  that should help him.  i wasn't aware of that

Great read. If he honestly means what he said and keeps that attitude up, then I don't care if he wiffs; he'll still be one of my favorite athletes on the team. I sincerely hope he lives up to his potential, but an attitude like that shows a maturity that escaped me for the longest time. If he can maintain it, he's already won.
