You don't recruit only for need this coming season, but for 4 to 5 years of need.  If after next season, we don't have anyone to fill Hall's shoes, you'll be the first to say, "Why don't we have an adequate replacement?" or, "Leavitt should have planned for this."

We have a good back waiting in the wings... Ricky Ponton.  It would be nice to get someone to compete with him though.

I am not so sure about that, if Hall goes down god forbid, we are in trouble.  Unless we can land Eldra Buckley which would provide some much needed depth.  But with Copeland transferring and D McCray going to Indiana, T Jones being a non qualifier, we are spread thin at RB in my opinion.

He did verbally commit to Indiana a day or so ago, so unless there is a last minute change of plans he is out of the picture.  I also forgot to list Henderson deciding to leave the team, I believe someone posted that a few weeks ago.  He was the only back behind Hall who had any experience at the college level.
