Quite honestly, because UCF appears to be really making a move as a program now, it is in USF's best interest to set up yearly games with them because it could turn into a big rivalry down the road that builds hype every season. That's why people keep bringing it up. Big rivalries dont happen over night, they happen over time. I dont ever see one happening between USF/UM though.

You are not paying attention, UCF did not have one victory last year against a team with a winning record.  You say they are making a move, like what?  Oh, because they one their third (3) BCS game in their history.  Impressive

I don't want a rivalry with UM.  Your program can not be competitive without breaking the rules so that is why you are struggling.

And what exactly makes USF better? USF hasnt done a **** thing. Absolutely nothing in fact.

When is the last time UM had an arrest or a big blow to our football PR? Long time. If you're looking for criminals, check out UF...they have arrests on a weekly basis. Or, better yet, take a look in your own stadium....it's filled with criminals.

First of all, none of those were "big" PR blows. Most people dont even know about them.

The player involved in the assault case had all charged dropped because it was found to be untrue. No validity there.

This is to counter the ridiculous and stupid argument that was posted about playing ucf. No sir what usf needs to do is continue to set up series with the big 3, home and home. That will do more for usf than playing ucf ever will. Who cares what ucf is or is not doing in cdoa.

you dont understand geographic rivalry and recruiting battle going on

big 3 will not play usf regularly whereas orlando school would

it makes no sense to play 1aa school when we can play orlando school

you are one of those fans that is afraid of orlando school

what a dumb comment

miami has 5 national championships

and will have a top 5 recruiting class next year

our fans are so unsophisticated at times

And you don't take the time to look deeper into recruiting.

We won't come anywhere near signing a high number of players in this recruiting class. Average star ranking is a better indicator of a class and USF has the same average star ranking as Miami.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
