In smazza's defense he did say "created the perception."  To some he's right.  I'm sure between the Big East being down and UCF finishing with a top 25 ranking last year some people see them being competitive in the Big East.  That doesn't mean we need to play them.

Perception is in the mind of the beholder.  So, what smazza was saying from his home in California and from watching UCF games (closet fan) that he thinks they are ready for the Big East.  But, he does not know that all the games UCF won last year was to losing record teams (expect 1 even).

He can't use the shift key, punctuation, or spell check - what makes you think he could use a timer (if there were such a feature). 

Based on his posts on this board and mad cow, I suspect he forgets what he posts from day to day and it is just randomly respewing his opinions.

It's true.  There is a perception issue.  I didn't think the public attention span was this short.  They are not any better, that is for sure.  This is the same team that went 0-17, then won C-DOA.
