Guest Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Hard to believe they would send USF to New York City for the inaugural bowl game. They'll want Syracuse or U Conn or Rutgers or even Pitt before they want USF at Yankee Stadium. More likely we'd end up in Orlando...

HA! I clearly stand corrected, sir.Still doubt that USF would head up there yet... You're right that Champs would jump at Notre Dame - but I'll go out on a limb and say that Notre Dame will not get that chance. They'll start out at least 1-3 in their first four... not sure they can win 6 more total. Just a guess tho... won't know until we see them play. But if WVU is in the Orange Bowl (they get the last pick, but WVU would travel well to Miami), then #2 Pitt would be in Charlotte for Belk? We get the Liberty one year out of four... swapping out the B'ham game. Now, I would love a trip to Memphis... cheaper than NYC.

Their games are against us, Michigan, Michigan State, and Pitt. Two of the schools have first year coaches and the other two (us included) have a 50/50 shot, imo.

More likely we'd end up in Orlando...I forgot which thread it was in, but I put this scenario in there and it does make sense based on:1) USF finishing second in league at 10-2 or 9-3 overall and potentially within the Top 252) ND taking the spots in the Champs Bowl3) Because of 2) the next pick would be Charlotte and they will not want USF back for a second straight season
