I agree with that one. For me it seemed like time slowed down watching that play develop. Amazing game!

From the article

I was at Champs Sports Bar here in Lakeland watching that game and remember the place exploding when that happened. Still get chills!

I've actually held that game winning ball.

E.T. you are a better man than I, because if I had that ball in my possession I would either still have it in my possession or be in jail for trying!

Well, it was before the Sun Bowl at the Grothe's home ... didn't feel right to leave my wife and daughter there as I ran out  ;D

That game was surreal.  Great stretch of games... beating North Carolina, West Virginia, and blasting UCF.

For me, the greatest point of that season was the one we got taken away.  It was against Rutgers before halftime when the referee decided we purposely knocked the fumble (or was it a punt block?) toward the endzone.  I still remember thinking, "How the **** do you purposefully knock a ball forward while defenders are grabbing your arms and dragging you to the ground?" That 14 point swing was brutal.  I hate Rutgers.

There's that and the ******** offensive pass interference call on Amarri Jackson.

Just thinking about that Rutgers game makes me angry  >:(

I was in Jordan-Hare in the nosebleed USF section on the opposite end of the stadium when that play went down, and I remember as soon as Hester caught it - pure pandemonium.  Although I enjoyed the effects of the FSU win a bit more, the Auburn game was a much better game (it was back and forth most of the night) and the OT win in SEC country was absolutely the best game I ever went to as a USF Bull.  I didn't get a chance to go to the WVU game in Tampa a few weeks later, but I will never forget the moment Hester caught that OT TD.
