Nevins led the nation in saves with eight, which was also a single season pitching record at USF. The eight saves broke the previous USF record of seven which was set by Cristi Ecks in 2007. Nevins, who dominated as a freshman, was also named to the All-BIG EAST First Team after leading the team in strikeouts, wins, ERA, innings pitched, complete games and opponent batting average while also leading the nation with eight saves. The freshman lefty will be honored with a plaque for her accomplishments.Link
