Personally, after reading what was going on from this post and GAs tweets (since Bullsvision is crap), i don't mind a close game or if no one stood out. It is so hard to evaluate when you are playing each other. I would rater have our offense not being able to complete passes because of stellar defense, then the QBs lighting our DBs up. :-\

Also I'm glad Mfloyd had a good outing. He has so much pride in this team and this program. I wonder if he will start pushing BJ for a starting position...hmmmmm.....

Let's not get ridiculous... He played twice as much as any QB today that's why his stats where better.... He made some great plays and looked good but he also made his fair share of freshman mistakes...

He should be a solid QB but let's not let the hype machine get out if control already.

I agre about the freshman mistakes from Floyd, but the problem is that our JUNIOR QB made just as many FRESHMAN mistakes.

Ugly game all the way around today.  Defense looked like they have potential, but the offense dropped too many balls to know if the defense would've looked that good without help from missed opportunities.  We will have some sacks this year.  LBs are FAST and D-Line looks strong and quick.  Other than that I am glad we have a falls worth of practice!

I agree, from what i am reading he did make plenty of mistakes. but with that being said, the coaches must have seen something to give him so many reps. was bobby injured at all?

Is he going to win a heisman? no.

Is he pushing bobby for a number 2 spot? looks like it.

Is he going to challenge BJ for a starting job? we all need to see more.

Bobby got his bell rung the very first play of the game, came out for a little while, then came back in. Didn't play as well after that.

Sterling had at least 3 drops (right in his hands). He hasn't been doing that in practice so I was surprised to see it today.

I like the way Holtz sets up the spring games, in comparison to Leavitt. Instead of splitting into two teams and playing, the 1s or 2s on offense play the 1s or 2s on defense. It's more like a scrimmage than an actual game. Shows us all the starters at once, which I like.

They're doing the traditional spring game next week. Under Leavitt, this was the final scrimmage. For whatever reason (my guess would be ray jay scheduling), this is the second of 3 scrimmages. Skip will do exactly the same as Leavitt and probably the majority of other coaches in America.

Will be nice to have some USF football hype on campus, I'll be interested to see the attendance comparisons.

Now...Go UConn, get the Big East some hoops love and bring home a title next week. (I wonder whose players are getting paid more here, Calipari's or Calhoun's?)

What was with the 'penalty box' a little pushing never hurt anyone, I'm glad they were playing with fire. If they are going to take them out and away from every one they should have either had to hug/hold hands the time they were away or do up/downs the whole time.
