The covered walkway is nothing new.  That's been there for years.  The Marshall Center is GORGEOUS, I didn't get a chance to go in when we drove through but it is WAY better than when I was there. The new baseball diamond is looking pretty sweet too ... I can't wait to go back and see everything when it is done.

There IS a nice walkway planned for getting from the Athletic Building to the practice fields. The walkway is currently there, but they haven't put up the railings and other additions to it.

If you look closely at the photo of the building at the football practice facilities, you'll see a turfed patch to the right of the new building. This is a 40yd dash/sprint field (covered in field turf).

Kind of interested to see what kind of pathway they have leading down from the Athletics building to the practice fields ... Looks like their building some type of earthen ramp along the side of the soccer stadium. I wonder if any of the concept drawings showed it ...

I don't remember it on the drawings, but I took a look after the last home MBB game and it looked pretty sweet leading down to the fields. A step up from what they had is a big understatement.

In this pic from BullShutter, it kind of looks like something may already be there but not sure ...

here's a pic from a crappy cell phone that shows the walkway down a little better and the 40 yd dash area Woogie was talking about...

The equipment to maintain the turf fields will be housed in there. Also, it is where the visiting team's soccer team will go during Half-time. In years past (in the track/soccer stadium) USF would setup a tent on the opposite side of the field for both teams to go to during half-time to have meetings. There is also a bathroom there.
