Guest nybullsfan
The way I understand the rumours, ND would usually have to go 6-0 to win the Big East. 5-0 in division play, and then win the BE Championship Game. There's also a scenario where ND could even win their division at 4-1 if the team they lost to went 3-2 in division play, so they could potentially win the BE with a 5-1 record. The Big east will do almost ANYTHING to keep ND in the league for all-sports, that's why this rumour has legs. The divisions could be called Legends and Upstarts, LOLNotre DameConnecticutWest VirginiaPittsburghSyracuseRutgersUSFLouisvilleCincinnatiTCUHoustonUCF

Hey if ND can beat UWV and Pitt and then turn around and beat the other division leader (i.e. TCU or South Florida) so be it. They would actually be taking on a much tougher schedule than they usually play.
