What benefits do we have between 9 temas vs 10 teams? we dont get a conf champ game out of it. maybe scheduling would be a little easier with 10 but thats about it. Add quality not quantity.I think anyone that isn't from USF will pick UCF as that next team. As much as I hate to admit it, they would beat us this year. We have no talent on our offense. They did something USF has never did (in CUSA or Big East) and that is win a conference title. They are playing for another this year. They are doing it with a coach that is not is good as ours. I did see another thread on the board about someone asking about Boise St to the Big East. That would be a awesome but I doubt it would happen since they already agreed to go to the Mountain West. So don't be surprise if UCF get's the nod if Villanova declines. They have the facilities, decent program, and the TV market. Really?Have you seen them play and who they play?W vs 4-7 South DakotaL vs 8-4 NC StateW @ 2-10 BuffaloL @ 7-5 Kansas StateW vs 4-8 UABW @ 5-7 MarshallW vs 4-8 RiceW vs 6-6 ECUW @ 5-7 HoustonL vs 8-4 Southern MissW @ 4-8 TulaneW @ 1-11 Memphisvs 7-5 SMU (CUSA Championship)They haven't beat anyone with an above .500 record. Going 9-3 against that schedule is nothing special. And their rankings mean nothing since they are mostly from CUSA coaches. Don't believe the smoke and mirrors. Something doesn't feel right about having TCU in the Big EAST, but I acknowledge they will boost out football clout.

Don't believe the smoke and mirrors.Well ok, but still did we ever win a conference title against the same weak competition in the CUSA. No we didn't. Their loses are against quality opponents NC State almost won the ACC (I know it's not the SEC but still). Kansas State, I'm not saying they are power house but they are a good quality opponent. Look at their record. Majority of Kansas State loses were to ranked teams (Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri). I blame most of their loses with their bad coach O'Leary but on paper they could beat us. I'm not saying they would because they don't have the greatest of coaches. He only seems to beat teams that he has a clear advantage on talent. The minute they play someone with equal talent, they end up losing because of their coach. Look at Southern Miss, some of their few loses were against quality opponents (Tulsa who beat Rutgers and South Carolina).
