no. not until 2013-2014 at the very least. stats will qualify them for the next go around.

probably won't lose it in 2013-2014, unless the league flat out sucks for 4 straight years (won't happen).

espn still has a TV contract, so unless that goes away, e$pn won't let BE get downgraded - they still pull in way more money than MWC and others below them.

MWC will be shell of itself next year. Utah and BYU go bye bye. Boise State and TCU will run the conference. Nevada and Fresno State coming in will help the middle of the pack, but still too many mediocre teams. New Mexico needs a new coach, UNLV has new coach right now - only one win so far. SDSU looking better though. Wyoming is eh. CO St is eh. Air Force is good - but has yet to get past the top teams.

No other conference will likely gain a bid, unless the MWC magically gets really good in the teams 4-10.

Big East would have to blow its bowls this year, and suck in 2011, 2012, and 2013 to really feel the pressure of losing the AQ bid. With the rise of Louisville and USF in the coming years, and the return of Syracuse, I think good things will happen.....I still want a 9th team for scheduling though.

Based on the BCS rules, the ACC would stand to lose their BCS bid before the Big East would.

Yes

The Big East needs to add more depth to its football roster because the MWC can make the argument that they deserve it instead.

Also if the Big10 raids us this summer and we have not added TCU then we will be dead in the water.
