Now miller is moved to WR and usf just tweeted that any players interested in walking on will have a chance.

The sky is falling

Yeah, WR is looking scary thin.  On the other hand, it's still in a lot better shape than the QB position was pre-Grothe.

The Banks and Julmiste era's were brutal for QB play.....at least we had Andre Hall.

I remember sitting there in RayJay against TCU, a nationally televised game, and Banks got sacked 3 consecutive plays in a row. That was horrible.

I don't think our WR play could possibly be that bad.

Ahh.  Memories.  I remember the MCC bowl game in NC that year.  We had only two plays, hand the ball off to Andre run left, or hand the ball off to Andre run right.  Man, if we only had him now, he was awesome that season.  But I digress.

Anyway, by the bowl game, teams had figured out that Andre was our entire set of offensive plays.  While our D did pretty well in that game, our Offense got shut down as NC State's D just focused on Andre whenever he was in.

The play calling was so awesome too.  1st down, Andre right.  2nd down Andre left.  3rd and 10, pass (incomplete).  Punt.  To shake it up, they would vary the Andre "right" and Andre "left" plays.

But we have come a long ways since then.  And at the time I was soooo excited to be sitting in a stadium watching a post season bowl game, with my favorite team.  So I didn't and still don't complain.  BTW, Charlotte really did a great job with the pep rally and everything.  That game was probably one of my top 5 of USF.

Dang, I wanna walk on! haha that would be so awesome. I'm sure they could use a 6-0", 195lb, 27 year old receiver :D I'm only a senior project away from graduating, I could fill my semester with 2 junk classes.

Hey, don't bring up old teams or this thread might get moved.  We will have one WR returning during mid season hopefully another as well.

Now miller is moved to WR ...

This assures he won't be receiving a scholly.

I'm not too worried. Ad this could mean that RB's are doing well.

How do you figure the opposite? The RB's are doing poorly so Holtz removes depth from the position? Yeah, makes sense...</sarcasm>
