With that said, let’s take a look today at Question No. 6: Do the Bulls have an impact freshman?

Holtz sure hopes so, because due to a lack of overall depth at certain skill positions and injuries at receiver, the Bulls need some instant production from the newcomers.

I think T-Rex makes an impact quickly... I see him returning punts, or kick-offs for us. That kind of speed and talent will be useful early and often...

I think it would have to be T-Rex.  Deaonte Welch certainly will have the opportunity to step up with our current depth at WR, but I think Mitchell just has the talent.

Chandler is an interesting case as well, but I think a DT will have a harder time during his freshman year.  After a year or two of college work outs and weightlifting he could be the best of the bunch.  I just dont see it this year.

usf should have several big impact freshman over the course of next couple of years as recruiting in significantly upgraded

if not usf will remain an also ran in this bad football conference

Agree T-Rex will likely see the field early...but my vote went to Welch as most possible to make an impact as a freshman.  He has the potential to step up, and the gap is there for him to do it if it all comes together for him.

From what I am reading, Tiger Powell may be one someday. He is described as a power runner that punishes the defense.

Well he won't be a freshman when he comes in because he's going to JUCO this year
