Are you serious Greg?  This site is not one of your largest referrers?

If not, who?

brad...dont lie....you wanted to really say R U serious?

Greg really shouldnt have to let the die hard fans know that his address changed (although as much time as he spends here and as much credit as he gets for being here) he should of let it be known to Brad on PM that it was happened.

but keep up the good work Greg.

I doubt Greg really pays much attention to the referrals to his blog. Heck, it's probably a coin toss whether he actually has access to that info - I'd guess someone else is responsible for the more technical maintenance and monitoring of the blog. Greg is a regular renaissance man though, maybe I'm underestimating him.

You'd be underestimating not just Greg, but the business.

I embraced Greg's blog in light of the other option and linked as much as possible to his.  It matters.  I was advertising this site all over the place and providing our members the pathway to his site when it was brand new and McMurph was the only quasi-legit option.  Easy decision, I know.

If you read Greg's blog, especially early on, it's all about traffic - and still is.  Whether it's competition against other SPT blogs or outside entities.  It's a business for those with a salary.

I think he does a GREAT job.

I guess I'm just hurt that we'd be overlooked.  I'll get over it.

You'd be underestimating not just Greg, but the business.

I just recently left the newspaper industry after several years in it. I'd be shocked if Greg Auman had anything to do with tracking referrals to his blog. I did once before get told by him that I was wrong in extrapolating some other experience of mine and assuming it applied to his newspaper, so I guess only he knows for sure, but I think it's unlikely for not only practical reasons but perhaps ethical ones as well. I don't doubt that he COULD get that info if he wanted, but Greg's not the one who would be potentially selling ads based on where traffic to his blog is coming from, so it doesn't make sense for him to be the one worrying about it. And if the constant stream of great info from him tells us anything, it's that he probably doesn't have much time to worry about it.

I don't think you need to be offended.

Well it's not worth a pissing match but I'd bet Greg knows as do most people who come here to reach a large pool o USF fans.

Now don't get me wrong. I think Greg does a great job and I support him.  But he knows more than you think.

Whoa. Very much appreciative of all the traffic that comes from here. Didn't mean that as any slight. Wasn't like I had a long list of places I'd remembered to say something to and I'd left out this site. Was just busy yesterday trying to figure out the changes on my end and didn't think about the prominent link on this page.

I have absolutely nothing to do with selling ads on the blog -- there's a separation between editorial and advertising at nearly all newspapers. I don't need any traffic numbers to know that lots of Bulls fans come from this message board to my blog. Thanks again -- honestly, no disrespect intended.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
