Trying to find an update on the Jim Leavitt saga, the first thing that came up today was this:

"Adding to the poor conclusion, Jim Leavitt was fired from his head coaching position in January 2010 after an NCAA investigation regarding his actions with one of his players."

in a story by some reporter.

Just thought it was funny seeing how slick loves internet searches for truth and wisdom.

I think there was supposed to be irony there. there was no NCAA investigation of CJL.

CJL was a below .500 coach in the Big East. Lets move on.

What I love the most about this article is his in depth analysis of the matchups of USF versus West Virginia......here it is:

"As for the matchup of the Bulls and Mountaineers, West Virginia should be able to avenge their loss in 2009 and even the series between the two at three games apiece."

That's it?!?

He just spent the previous 11 sentences talking about what has changed from the Bulls from the 2009 season, where their weaknesses and strengths are and then.......well West Virginia should be able to win. I predict 27-17 UWV.

It's like the underpants gnomes' logic.

I do....it seems to me that it is the classic description of how the human mind works. I think that is why our "so called experts", politicians and media types say such moronic things....yet they actually get people worked up and behind them, like Cartman saying "Oh yeah, I get it"

Phase 1: Propose an idea. (For example: Quit your job)

Phase 2: ?                      (?)

Phase 3: Tell people it will result in some magical wonderful outcome. (Become filthy rich)

Who needs proof or sound reasoning when you can just say something that sounds good.
