ACC looks to get own network (possibly with B12 or P10)

Multiple sources told the ACC Sports Journal that the conference also is considering following the Big Ten’s path and forming a new channel — either by itself, or in conjunction with the Big 12 or Pac-10.

“We’re exploring everything,†Elliott said. “We’ll have already had some preliminary discussions with the Big Ten on what they were able to do (by creating its own network). They were fortunate when they did that. The economy was in good shape, and Fox put a lot of money on the table. In today’s times, you don’t know if that would be the case.â€
