What type of food and drink (beer, specifically) are offered in the Cabana? Will be enjoying my first and last basketball game of the season this weekend in the Cabana.  O0

That's my favorite type of beer,  FREE!

Although I don't really think anything is for free...

It is not free when you have to pay to get into that area.

A mere technicality ..... but I probably should have said "unlimited".

I was there Saturday and I was expecting something better in terms of food. They have average wings, a salad bowl that was always empty, pork roast, vegetables, a pasta salad dish, and hot dogs and sausages. And for dessert just a tray of cookies, seriously? What are we? 12? It's worth it if you are going for the unlimited drinks and food is an afterthought, but I don't drink so for me the value (or lack of) was in the food. It's a good idea though, and probably has brought more people to the games that otherwise wouldn't have cared to show up. Average food, great drinking value, great seats, and great idea by USF marketing. There, I finished with something positive to avoid the  ::) ::) faces.  ;D

Just to let you know what our group thought of the food, we went a couple of weeks ago and everyone wanted to come back for another game.  First game there was turkey at the carving station, a pasta selection with Caesar salad, hot dogs and sausage at another and pulled pork.  Last game was pork at the carving station, a different pasta and Caesar, wings and the hot dogs and sausage.  Our feeling was the food was very good to excellent (the pulled pork and the turkey).  Everyone enjoyed the salad and I thought the wings were really good.  You had to add your choice of hot sauce and what looked to be a teriyaki or soy sauce.

Bud, Bud Light, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cab were the choices for alcohol.  Coke products and water were available as well.

And cookies were the only dessert but they were really good.

They start closing up shop with about 16 minutes to go in the 2nd half.

You said it...  I'd bet most of the people who frequent the cabana are not there for anything else

or else that's one helluva salad...

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
